Boys Home of Virginia is excited to host our 8th Annual Boys Home Harvest Hustle 5K, 10K, and half-marathon! Each year this event has grown bigger and better and we are certain that 2024 will be no exception.
RACE DESCRIPTION
All races start and end at the Intervale Trailhead of the Jackson River Scenic Trail, in Covington, VA. The USATF-certified course has a smooth crushed gravel surface and is mostly flat, with some small hills. The course follows an old railroad bed of the Chesapeake and Ohio Railroad, winding along the Jackson River through the scenic Alleghany Highlands. You are welcome to run or walk at your own pace; please be aware that aid stations will close at noon.
Drive-thru packet pick-up will be from 4 p.m. - 6 p.m. on Friday, November 1st at Boys Home of Virginia, 414 Boys Home Drive, Covington, VA 24426.
On-site packet pick-up the day of the race (Saturday, November 1st) will be available starting at 8:30 a.m. There will be separate tables for each race, as well as another table for same day registrations.
9:30 a.m. - Half-Marathon begins
9:45 a.m. - 10K begins
10:00 a.m. - 5K begins
